Rashami Desai Biography 
Rashami Desai is an Indian television actress who became famous after her role of Tapasya Thakur called Tappu in the television series Uttaran on Colors. She has also acted in films of various languages.
Rashami was born on 4th August 1986 in Nagaon in Assam. She completed her schooling from Ulubari High School. She also learnt Kathak dance and Bharatnatyam dance. Sh fell in love with her co actor Nandhish Sandhu and married him on 12th February 2012 in Dholpur. She has one brother. Her mother is very friendly with her and gives her good support in her career.
She started her career in acting when she was a small girl. The television series Ravan aired on Zee TV gave her a break and she became a noticeable personality. The show Meet Mila De Rabba aired on Sony TV also gave her good exposure followed by Uttaran on Colors. She went out of Uttaran in March 2012 and came back in November 2012.
She is also a television presenter and model who has appeared in many commercials. She has acted in films of various languages like Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri and Bhojpuri that include Dabangg 2, Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke, Kanyadaan and Kab Hoi Gauna Hammar.
She has acted in various television shows such as Raavan, Pari Hoon Main, Meet Mila De Rabba, Ssshhhh… Phir Koi Hai, Uttaran, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala, Kahani Comedy Circus Ki, Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted Nights, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Comedy Circus 3, etc.
