Ranveer Singh Biography 
Ranveer Singh – the cousin of Sonam Kapoor is a successful actor of Bollywood. He joined the industry most recently in 2010, but both his movies as leading actor have become successful in box office.
It’s the dream of everyone to launch the film world through Yashraj films banner. Such a dream became fulfilled in Ranveer Singh’s life when he was selected from an audition to do the movie ‘Band baja baarat’ under the same company. Though news spread that Ranveer Singh’s father has given 10 crore rupees to Yash Raj Films to get an opportunity to his son, the rumours have not been confirmed yet! Anyhow the movie which told wedding ceremonies in a new way was well received by Indian audience. Though many critics were suspicious about its success, it appealed to Indian audience very well. He was paired opposite Anushka Sharma and the chemistry between the couple was well appreciated by the audience. That’s why they were re-casted together by the same director (Maneesh Sharma) for the next venture ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. It proved right and the movie was successful at box office. Thus both the released movies of Ranveer Singh are success, thus giving him 100% success till now. A few more movies, Ram leela, Lutera, Gunday and Kill dil are yet to release.
Band Baja Baarat is the story of love and clashes of a Delhi boy with his co-worker and how they unite again. This movie shows how wedding ceremonies are well organized. Band Baja Baarat was nominated for best movie, direction, actors, music as well as singers and art direction in many awards. It won in a few categories too. Ranveer Singh won the best debutant male award through this movie in many award functions in 2011. Best new comer award was given by Filmfare, Apsara, Star screen awards, Star dust awards and Zee cinema awards. He was given the best entertainer award by BIG star entertainment awards and Star screen awards considered him as the most promising new star. He won awards for best comedy and romantic actor as well.
In his second movie, he was paired opposite Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Dipannitha Sharma and Aditi Sharma. There were rumours that he is dating Anushka Sharma and news were confirmed with the straight success of their second movie together.
