Ram Pothineni Biography
Ram Pothineni is an Indian film actor who has acted in the films of Telugu and Tamil languages. He entered the film industry in 2006 through the megahit film Devadasu.
He was born on 15th May 1988 at Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. His father’s name is P. Murali Mohan and his mother’s name is P. Padmasree. He completed his schooling at Siddhartha Public School at Vijayawada and attended Chettinad Vidyashram at Chennai for higher studies. He is talented in martial arts and dancing. His mother tongue is Telugu but he knows other languages like English, Tamil and Hindi.
He started his acting career as a child artist at his age of 12 and during that age he acted in a short film titled ID in Tamil language. He received The Best Actor Award for this film at the European Film festival organized at Otten in Switzerland.
After the success of his first movie Devadasu, he performed in Jagadam and this did not fare well at the box office. His third film Ready with Genelia D’Souza was a megahit. In his short term film career, he has won Filmfare Award once and was nominated for it twice.
