Raju Singh Biography 
Raju Singh is a popular back ground scorer associated with Bollywood, whose compositions for 2014 movie – Ek Villain and 2013 movie – Aashique 2 became instant hit. He has composed background score for more than 100 films and one of the leading names of the field right now. He is the son of veteran session musician Charanjit Singh. Associated with Bollywood music since 1993, he has completed two decades in the industry. Apart from Bollywood, he also works with Punjabi movies and won PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Background Score for the highly acclaimed 2014 film - Punjab 1984.
He is regularly associated with Mahesh Bhatt’s production ventures. Raju and director Mohit Suri have been friends for years and together they have worked for a series of movies - Zeher (2005), Raaz - The Mystery Continues (2009), Murder 2 (2011), Aashiqui 2 (2013) and Ek Villain (2014), which marked his 100th project as a background scorer. CityLights (2014), Murder 3 (2013), Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013), Raaz 3 (2012), We Are Family (2010), Life In A Metro (2007), Page 3 (2005), Ishq Vishk (2003) and Chandni Bar (2001) are other noted works. Besides giving background scores, Raju has also rendered his voice for a couple of songs for Bollywood - Rooh Mein (pictured on the late Farooq Sheikh) for Club 60 and Zabaan Jale Hai for Dedh Ishqiya are those two songs.
Raju is also verse in guitar playing. Apart from over 100 music scores for Bollywood, he has also done melodies for over 300 Indian TV serials and around 30 ad-jingles. He has worked with industry stalwarts like R. D. Burman, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Nadeem-Shravan, Jatin-Lalit, Anu Malik etc. He received multiple awards at Indian Telly Awards - for the movies Sahib Biwi Ghulam (2005) and Ambar Dhara (2008). Raaz – The Mystery Continues earned Airtel Mirchi Music Awards 2009.
