Rajshri Ponnappa is a television actress of Malayalam. She is a model turned actress. She debut Malayalam film industry in the year 2013 with 'Pithavinum Puthranam Parishudhatmvinum'. She played supporting role in this movie. Honey Rose played female lead in this movie. The movie tells the story of a nun. The movie was made under the banner Track and Trolly Productions, and it was directed by Deepesh T. Rajshri Ponnappa surprised everyone playing the role of a nun in this movie. She has hitherto been seen in chic roles earlier. Reji Nair’s woman-centric Tamil-Malayalam bilingual. Aran was her second movie where she appeared in a deglamorized role. She is currently filming the Kannada film,Paro, where she plays the lead role of Devdas’ Parvathy. She is also to make her Tamil debut soon.

Her father belonged to Kerala. Rajshri is a Bangalore based girl who dreamt to become a radio jockey. But destiny was something else. In the audition of Radio Jockey they liked her voice and later she took part in a dance and a reality show. It paved her way to small screen. She belonged to a family of lawyers and doctors. So her family members were surprised with her decision to become an actress. But recognizing her talent they supported her and Rajshri completed her studies as well.

The film makers of Malayalam film, Pithavinum Puthranam Parishudhatmvinum spotted her photograph and that’s how she got her debut film offer. She also signed a three-film deal with film makers. She dubbed for her debut movie, as she is good in all south Indian languages. Rajshri is to debut Tamil with a movie opposite Vikranth, where she plays a village belle.
