Rajesh Khera Biography

Rajesh Khera is a popular actor known for playing supporting roles. He is associated with Hindi cinema and television, and has also gained fame as a dubbing artist. After playing minor roles in television shows and movies, he shot to fame playing the role of a gay fashion designer Maddy in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. Rajesh is still known for his ‘Maddy’ role on small screen. Later he played the role of Acharya Devvrat in the TV serial Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. This role is one of the finest works of Rajesh in his professional career. He participated in TV reality show Survivor aired on Star Plus.

He was born on 26 October 1968. He came to Mumbai from Pune in 1993. He was first seen in ZEE TV show, Tara aired during 1993-97. In this series, he played the brief role of Gautam. In 1997, he earned his first major role through Doordarshan series, Swabhimaan. He was seen in the supporting role of Ranjit in the show. Saaya, Itihaas, C.I.D etc are some of the brief roles he played later, till Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin happened. One of the most popular Indian soaps of 2000s, aired on Sony television network, his role as Maddy played a pivot role, and his character appears in the crucial point of the show. There was no turning back, and he went on to become one of the popular character artists of small screen.

Rajesh has also played noted supporting roles on big screen. Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa, Hu Tu Tu, Taal, Josh, Tum Bin etc are some of his early roles. He has played both positive and negative roles on screen. Kambakkht Ishq, Taal, Victoria No. 203, Samay, Hate Story 2 etc are among his best works. Naagarjuna - Ek Yoddha, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Sense8, Maharakshak: Aryan are among his recent works for television.
