Rajeev Ravi Biography 
Rajeev Ravi is a National award winning cinematographer, producer and film director who works predominantly on Malayalam cinema and Bollywood. As a film director, Annayum Rasoolum (2013) marked his successful beginning as a film director. This love story portrayed in a beautiful way starred Fahadh Faasil, Andrea Jeremiah and Sunny Wayne in pivot roles. Through his debut movie as a director, he beautifully portrayed his hometown – Kochi. This movie was also noticed for the appearance of 5 Malayalam film directors, portraying character roles – Ranjith, P. Balachandran, Aashiqu Abu, M.G. Sasi and Joy Mathew.
He belongs to Kochi, born on 15 February 1973. Ravi is married to noted film actress and director, Geetu Mohandas. In April 2014, he has been announced as the best cinematographer (National award) for the movie, Liar's Dice directed by his wife. He won Filmfare award for Best Cinematography in 2010, for the film Dev D. this critically acclaimed movie also earned him a nomination at Apsara Producers Guild Awards.
Rajeev has been associated with many critically well praised movies in Bollywood. Dev D, Gulaal, Bombay talkies, Monsoon Shootout, That Girl in Yellow Boots, Chandni Bar, Mumbai Cutting and Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 and 2 are among those. Bombay Velvet is his upcoming Bollywood flick. He has also been associated with commercial Malayalam hits like Classmates, Shesham and Rasikan. 5 Sundarikal, Anyar and Ivan Megharoopan are other works. As a cinematographer, he has work experience with some leading names like Girish Kasaravalli, Sibi Malayil, T.K. Rajeevkumar, Lenin Rajendran, Lohitadas, Lal Jose etc. Cinematographers Resul Pookutty and Ajith Kumar were his classmates. ID was his first venture as a film producer.
