R. Narayana Murthy Biography 
R. Narayana Murthy is a veteran Telugu film maker and actor. He is the owner of a film production company called Sneha Chitra Pictures. He is known for his communist or left-oriented films that expose the exploitation of weaker sections of the society. His films are very popular in the villages and run well at remote theaters. Murthy is a simple man who lives a simple life and he always keeps himself away from limelight. He also donates fund for good causes when his movies become successful. He is unmarried.
He was born in Mallampet town in Rauthulapudi mandal of the East Godavari district. He was born in a middle class peasant family. Movies of actors like N. T. Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao inspired him a lot during his childhood and he got fascinated with this industry. He received his secondary education in Sankavaram. It was during this time when revolutionary ideas started peeping in his mind. He was the president of the hoodlum students' union in school and the secretary of the Fine Arts department. In 1973, he debut with the movie Neramu Siksha with a bit role. The role was offered to him by its producer Dasari Narayana Rao. Later Rao gave him a meaty role in Needa. Murthy has acted in Dasari's Seetaramulu, Korikale Gurralaithe and Viswaroopam.
Dasari made him a full-fledged hero with the film, Sangeeta. His first venture under his own banner, 'Sneha Chitra Pictures’ was Ardharatri Swatantryam (1986). The production house was started in 1984. The film was released on the eve of T. Krishna's death anniversary, who played the role of a Naxalite in the movie. Ardharatri Swaatantryam, Adavi Diviteelu, Laal Salaam, Dandora, Erra Sainyam, Cheemala Dandu, Dalam, Cheekati Suryulu, Ooru Manadiraa and Vegu Chukkalu are his hit movies in which he acted as male protagonist.
