R. Madhavan Biography 
R. Madhavan Balaji Ranganathan is an Indian film actor. His nickname is Maddy. He was born on 1st June, 1970 in Jamshedpur. He is also a writer. He produced films too. He has received Filmfare Awards in Tamil Nadu and established his career in acting in more than seven languages especially in Tamil. He has worked for many TV programs and made cameo appearances in the Hindi channels. Madhavan is a charming romantic hero in Tamil film industry and the dream boy of many girls.
Ranganathan and Saroja are the parents of Madhavan. His father was working in Tata Steel as a managing executive and his mother was working as a manager in the Bank of India. Devika is his sister who is a software engineer in United Kingdom. Sarita Birje is his loving wife who was an air hostess and they both got married in 1999. They have a son named Vedant.
Alaipayuthey, Aayutha Ezhuthu, Run, Dumm Dumm Dumm, Minnale, Kannathil Muthamittal, Guru, Anbe Sivam, Yavarum Nalam, are some of the movies of Madhavan. Leukos Films is the Madhavan’s production company and he produced a film named Evano Oruvan in the year 2007. Madhavan’s first movie in Kannada was Shanti Shanti Shanti in 1999. Alaipayuthey and Rehna Tere Dil Me are his debut movies in Tamil and Hindi respectively.
He is a NCC cadet and has won All-India Best Cadet award. He is a great fan of Infosys Narayana Murthy. He was very proud that he worked with Kamal Hasan and Mani Rathnam. He secured his first Filmfare Award in the film Aayutha Ezuthu. He wrote the comedy script of Ramji London Waley in Hindi. He also made guest appearance in two high budget productions, Guru and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Rang De Basanti. He acted in the film 3 Idiots and it was a blockbuster in the year 2009. He anchored the familiar program named Deal Ya No Deal in the Hindi channel in 2006. He first entered into the field of modeling and acted in many advertisements and then came in to the cinema field and did various films and now he is romantic hero and a successful star in the cinema industry.
