Purva Rana Biography

Purva Rana is a successful Indian model and beauty pageant winner from Dharmashala, Himachal Pradesh. Miss India Finalist of 2012, she was crowned Vice Queen at Miss United Continent 2013 (Ist Runner Up), from 27 contestants who participated in the event. She also won 2nd Runner-up Best National Costume in this contest. She also found place in the list of India’s 50 Most Desirable Women in 2013. She also received the title of 1st Runner up at Miss Tourism 2012 pageant. Flawless skin, sharp features and awesome beauty – Purva Rana is one of the hot favourites among Indian models.

 

Purva was born in Dharmashala, Himachal Pradesh in the year 1991. Singing & Modelling are her prime interests and she started modelling during her academic period. She was doing Electronic engineering at Himachal Pradesh Technical University Himachal Pradesh (L.R Institute of Engineering and technology) when she participated in Miss Himachal Pradesh Beauty contest 2010 and she was selected as the winner. It helped her to participate in Miss India 2012 beauty pageant held at Mumbai, and she managed to reach the top five finalists, though not able to win the title. She won the subtitle - Miss Dream Girl 2012.

 

In 2012 she represented India at Miss Tourism 2012 pageant in Bangkok and became First Runner up. She won the international beauty event - Vice Queen at Miss United Continent 2013 held in Guayaquil, Ecuador on 14 September 2013. It’s her best achievement in beauty contests and India’s first win in Miss United Continent beauty contest. She got critics nod for her beauty, confidence and performance at United Continents 2013. This sensual, charming and stunning model is one among the most popular female models across the country post 2010.
