Praveen Anidil Biography

Praveen Anidil is a Malayalam film actor who made his debut through 2013 commercial hit, Nee Ko Njaa Cha, which is an acronym for Ninnem Kollum Njaanum Chaavum. The movie was directed by debutant Gireesh. Same year, his second movie was also released – August Club, where he played supporting role. The movie included Rima Kallingal, Murali Gopi and Praveena in pivot roles. In 2014, his released movie was ‘Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla’, where he was casted in main lead opposite Ranjini Haridas. He played the role of Mathew, a taxi driver who hates women. The movie keeps on tracking its reasons. The movie also featured Girish Parameshwar and Maria George in pivot roles.

 

His full name is Praveen Kumar Anidil and was born in Payyanur, Kannur. He is a software engineer by profession and now resides in Bangalore. He married Radhika in 2013. He started his career as a model and also acted in a few short films before his full-fledged movie as an actor. Nee Ko Njaa Cha gave him magic entry to Mollywood. This comedy thriller was one of the highest grossers of the year. Sunny Wayne, Sanju, Poojitha Menon, Parvathy Nair and Sija Rose were also included in the star cast. He played the role of a TV show producer, Joe in this movie.

 

During his college days, he was fascinated to cinema. Yet he never thought he will enter this field. He appeared in a television show that promoted budding models and in the 60th episode of the show he was selected ‘Model of the week’. He got an opportunity to anchor Kairali TV’s Suprabhatham. But his parents didn’t show him the letter till he got a job in Bangalore. But his entry to film field was just magical. He attended several screen tests and finally entered film field through ‘Nee Ko Njaa Cha’.
