Prasad V Potluri Biography 
Prasad V Potluri is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and educationalist, who owns PVP cinema – a film production company, which produces Tamil and Telugu movies. He is also the co-owner of the football team, Kerala Blasters F.C, co-owned by Sachin Tendulkar. He is also the owner of the Hyderabad Hotshots, an Indian badminton League team. He is chief patron of Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology and LV Prasad Eye Institute. He also serves as the chairman & managing director of PVP Ventures Ltd. He is also a Strategic Investor in CBay Systems, Maven Corp and Karvy Consultants.
He was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh on 8 September 1970. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Nagarjuna University. In 1996, he started an IT services company - Procon, Inc. Michigan and served as its CEO. Began the company with just 100 dollars, he sold the company with RCM for $32m in November 1998. In the year 2000, he founded 'Albion Orion Company', an IT solutions company and the following year he co -founded and built Irevna Ltd. The organization provides high end analytics and research services to investment banks from offshore location. The company was acquired by CRISIL Ltd in 2005.
Later Prasad ventured into entertainment and sports field, and founded PVP Ventures Ltd in 2006 where he serves as chairman since then. The company acquired SSI Limited in 2007 with an FDI investment of 8.93 billion. PVP was listed in BSE in 2010 as "Picturehouse Media Limited" and its subsidiary "PVP Capital Ltd." The production company has produced many commercially successful south Indian movies since then. Also known for philanthropic activities, he started PVP foundation which focuses on health care and education of the society.
