Pranitha Vardhineni Biography

Pranitha Vardhineni is an Indian sportswoman playing the game of archery. She represented Indian in the 2008 Beijing Olympics but failed to win any medal in that.

 

She was born on 17th November 1990 in Kalleda village in Warangal in Andhra Pradesh. She studied at Rural Development Foundation’s Kalleda Rural School and later joined the Tata Archery Academy.

 

She participated with Dola Banerjee and Bombayala Devi in the team event of 2008 Summer Olympics held at Beijing and ended up in the sixth rank. She failed to reach the finals in the individual event also. She got 37th rank in the qualifiers in the individual event and entered Olympics but failed to accomplish there.

 

She has won silver medal in the Junior World Championship. She has won silver medal in individual and team events of the 10th Junior and 4th Cadet World held at Turkey and bronze medal at the second Asian Grand Prix held at Iran.
