Prachi Save Saathi Biography

Prachi Save Saathi is a dancer, actress, and voice-dubbing actress. She is the official Hindi dubbing voice for the very popular Disney character, Minnie Mouse. A trained classical dancer, she is trained in Bharathanatyam, and is a regular performer on stage. One of the leading female voices in the dubbing industry for foreign animation media films to Indian languages, she has already dubbed for more than 200 characters in the past 2 decades. She has also dubbed for television shows. Her voice for Krishna in the series "Krishna aur Kans" is her noted work for television.

 

Prachi Save Saathi was born in Mumbai on 21 March 1982. She is a trained dancer in classical dance forms and has been performing Bharathnatyam for the last 20 years. She learnt the dance form from Guru Vaibhav Arekar and gave her first stage performance (arangettam) in 1999. She has also won many awards for her performances. Though she has dabbed into different fields of entertainment, she became most successful as a dubbing artist of Hollywood movies and TV shows. Pranchi is also an actress. Apart from her supporting roles in movies, she is a theater artist too. As a stage actress, she is best known for the play – Rage and Beyond: Irwati’s Gandhari, a play that was staged for the first time at META 2015.

 

As a dubbing artist for Hollywood films, some of her best works include – Karate Kid, The sixth sense, The chronicles of Narnia, Stuart Little, Little Mermaid etc. She dubbed for the lead voice of Krishna for the television series "Krishna aur Kans", India’s official entry to Oscars 2013 in the animation film category. She was seen as a child artist in the 1994 Hindi movie Karamati Coat, and has also done a few supporting roles.
