Pooja Misrra Biography

Pooja Misrra is a popular Video Jockey, dancer and model who gained attention through the controversial celebrity show on Colors TV – Bigg Boss Season 5. She raised eyebrows of viewers for being aggressive and loudmouthed and after her exit she accused the host of the show, Salman Khan for being biased. She constantly picked up fights in the show and her war of words with another house inmate Pooja Bedi was also well noticed in that season. Truth is that ‘real issue’ started much before the two entered Bigg Boss. She was featured in the song, "Saajan Saajan" aside Aishwarya Rai for the movie Dil ka Rishta which got noticed. She also appeared in the item songs of Bollywood movies - Mera Dil Leke Dekho, Baaja Baja Doonga and Love the way I am.

She was born in Munger, Bihar in December 29, 1984. She is known for her sensuality in the glamour industry and is a page 3 celebrity. She rose to fame as a VJ on B4U hosting a chat show called” Jab We Talk”. Through this show, she gathered a huge fan following crowd and she used to solve the sensitive problems of the callers through the show. Yet she couldn’t make it big in Bollywood and could only sizzle as an item girl for a few Bollywood numbers.

Her entry to Bigg Boss 5 gained her quick attention for her rebellious and strangest approach. She was nominated several times for elimination and finally got eliminated on day 67. The controversial show also named Pooja as the most entertaining lady in house. Later she returned back to the show as cricketer Andrew Symonds's translator in 2011. As a model she had a successful career and has also hosted a few TV shows.
