Pooja Gaur Biography

Pooja Gaur is a successful television actress most popular for portraying the role of Pratigya in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya. She debut small screen with Kitani Mohabbat Hai in 2008, where she played the supporting role of Purvi Sail Mittal. This role helped her to earn the lead role in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, the following year which made her a household name. She played lead role opposite Arhaan Behl. But the show was abruptly ended following the fall of TRP ratings when Bade Ache Lagtehain was launched in Sony Television. It was one of the popular shows of the season and was also aired in Pakistan on Urdu 1 Channel.

She received numerous awards including best actress award at Kalakar awards and The Global Indian Film and TV Honours for the lead role played in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya. She also received STAR Parivaar Awards for Naya Sadasya, Best Beti, Best Patni, Best Maa, Hottest Jodi (shared with Arhaan Behl) etc. She has also hosted Lakhon Mein Ek and made cameo appearance in many television series like Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, V The Serial, Maayke Se Bandhi Dor and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She has also appeared in one episode of Ekta Kapoor’s Mujhe Pankh De Do.

Pooja Gaur was born on 1st June 1991 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She studied at A. G. School, Ahmedabad. At present she is dating her television co-star, Raj Singh Arora. Similar to Prachi Desai and Anita Hassanandani, she is also Ekta Kapoor’s favourite and hence Pooja hopes she will be offered a film role by the filmmaker. She debut small screen playing the role of Purvi Mittal, elder sister of Arohi Sharma, in Kitani Mohabbat Hai. She has appeared as a celebrity in popular television shows like Comedy circus and Kaun Banega Crorepati.
