Pearl V. Puri Biography

Pearl V. Puri is a noted television actor and model. He works in Hindi entertainment industry and has played male protagonist in the last two shows from the three roles he played till now. He marked his television debut through the show, Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat in 2011. Later he was seen in 2015 series, Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil, in which he played the male protagonist - Abeer Malhotra. Asmita Sood played the female lead in the show. Currently Pearl in seen in the daily soap, Meri Saasu Maa, in which he portrays the male lead - Satyendra Sharma @ Sattu, opposite Hiba Nawab.

 

Pearl V Puri was born on July 10, 1989 in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. He was brought up in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. When Puri took decision to become an actor, his father opposed it and even breakup the relationship. His father asked him to join family business. However his mother supported him. He did an acting course from "Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares" - The School for Actors. Later he started giving auditions and received his first break to television through the romantic and youth oriented show - Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat in 2011. He played a supporting role in his debut series. But after that he bagged lead roles in both the series he played on mini screen - Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil and Meri Saasu Maa.

 

After his debut series, he returned to Agra and assisted his father in business for two years. But once again he returned back to entertainment industry. He received both the lead roles of the shows - Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil and Meri Saasu Maa almost four years after his break that makes a remarkable comeback. He now shuttles between Agra and Mumbai, and also handling family business as well.
