Pallavi Batra Biography

Pallavi Batra is a film, theatre and voice over artist. She is a successful television anchor too and has also appeared in numerous television ads. She played supporting roles in Bollywood releases - Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi, Ek Thi Daayan, 9/11: The Last Fall and No One Killed Jessica. Aamir khan starrer PK is her upcoming flick, where she plays the supporting role of Bridesmaid. The movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. She anchored Swarovski Sparkling Inspirations 2014 for NDTV Good Times and has also hosted a few live shows as well.

She was born in New Delhi in 1989. She started her career at the age of 13 for the Bollywood movie, ‘9/11: The Last Fall’ where she appeared in the role of an aspiring pilot. She got selected in the workshop conducted by NSD the following year and got opportunity to appear in a show. Since then she has been an active member of theatre. She has acted in popular stage play Zangoora which has already completed 500 shows. She has also received acting training from the film industry apart from training in contemporary dance forms and aerial work and harness flying from the famous Shiamak Davar’s dance troupe.

She played the lead role of actress Waheeda Rehman in the play ‘Ten Years with Guru Dutt: Abrar Alvi’s Journey’. She also played lead roles in the theatric productions - ‘Walking the Path’ and ‘Pride and Prejudice in 10 minutes’. She has appeared in a few ads of which Bilseri ad is most popular. She also appeared in the ads of Big Bazaar, Vodafone etc.
