Nisha Kothari Biography 
Nisha Kothari is an Indian film actress and a stage performer who appears in the films of Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada and Telugu languages. Her original name is Priyanka Kothari. She was born on 30th November 1983 in Kolkatta in West Bengal in India. She is also called as Amoga.
She belongs to a Marwari Jain family and could speak many languages like Bengali, Gujarati, English and Hindi. She went to New Delhi when she was studying class 10 and after finishing her schooling joined Dayal Singh College affiliated to Delhi University. After getting her graduation in Chemistry she started her modeling career. Her father is a businessman indulged in chemical business and her mother is a housewife. She had one elder sister and she is married.
She appeared in a number of advertisement campaigns and televisions commercials. After seeing her photographs, actor Madhavan recommended her for audition in his film and she got a big break through this chance. Her acting debut was with Madhavan in the film Jay Jay in the name of Amoga.
She entered Hindi film industry in 2005 and acted in the film Sarkar directed by Ram Gopal Varma. In the same year, she acted in the direction of Rohit Jugraj in the film James. She did the film The Killer with Emraan Hashmi. Some other films that she did went unnoticed. Her film Bin Bulaye Baarati is released recently.
She is one of the members of the International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television. She campaigned for Dr Nirmal Majji, the All India Trinamool Congress candidate who contested from North Uluberia in the 2011 West Bengal assembly elections.
She acted in the Telugu cinema with Madhyanam Hathya. She acted in another movie of Ram Gopal Varma, Darna Zaroori Hai in 2006. Her releases in the year 2007 include Shiva and Ki Aag. She acted with Simran Bagga and Anushka Shetty in the Telugu film Okka Magaadu.
