Nikitha Narayan Biography

Nikitha Narayan is a successful south Indian model and Telugu film actress. She is also a playback singer. She made her film debut in 2011, through the Telugu movie - It's My Love Story, where she debut as a playback singer as well. She received a nomination at SIIMA for Best Female Debutant for this movie. The bilingual Made in Vizag/Nee Naan Mattum, Ladies & Gentlemen, Tanu Monne Vellipoyindi and Pesarattu are her releases till now. She was also seen in a cameo role in Telugu movie, Race. She is to make her Kannada debut through the movie – Geethanjali and Saadhu. Her upcoming Telugu release is Naladamayanthi.

A resident of Bangalore, she was born in Karnataka in 1990. Her father is into advertising field and mother, a home maker though a qualified interior designer. She has one younger sister. She completed Bachelor of Management Studies from Hyderabad and interned as a Business Analyst at Goldman sachs Bangalore. She has worked in Facebook Company and Amazon.com, before she took acting and modelling as full-time job.

Nikitha started modelling at a very young age of 10. Annapurna Iodised salt was her first TV ad, followed by Fair and Lovely. Since then, she regularly appeared in ads and took modelling as part time job. In 2009 she won the Dabur Miss Fresh Face of Hyderabad and in 2010, became second runner-up at Miss South India contest. She also won the subtitles - Miss Congeniality and Miss Beautiful Skin for Miss South India Contest 2010. She reached the Top 5 for Miss Queen of India 2011 and won the subtitle - Miss Beautiful Eyes title.

A regular model at ramp walks, it was obvious that she entered entertainment industry. It's My Love Story directed by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy marked her film debut. She played the female lead for which received a nomination at SIIMA awards. She played the female lead for the movie, which marked her debut as a playback singer too. After a series of Telugu releases, she is a busy star right now.
