Nikhila Vimal Biography 
Nikhila Vimal is an upcoming actress of Malayalam cinema, who made her film debut with 2015 hit - Love 24x7, opposite Dileep. The movie received good reviews from critics and was a box office hit. Earlier she has played a supporting role in Jayaram starrer Bhagyadevatha (2012), where she played his younger sister. Acting was never in her wildest dreams and that’s why she disappeared from silver screen for a long time. But when she got a magical lead role opposite Dileep, she couldn’t resist herself. Her portrayal of a news reporter in Thiruvananthapuram slang was well appreciated by audience.
She hails from Thaliparambu, Kannur. M. R. Pavithran and Vimala are her parents. Her father works in statistics department while her mother is a dance teacher and has her own dance institute. Her elder sister is doing her Phd in JNU. The family’s close relationship with Sathyan Anthikad paved way to her debut film in a supporting role, Bhagyadevatha (2012), while she was studying in 8th standard. Then she took a break from industry and concentrated on to her studies. She never thought of a career in movies and was not serious about it. Later when Sreebala K Menon, an assistant director of Bhagyadevatha decided to make a film, the first actress came to her mind was Nikhila. She was paired with Dileep for Love 24x7. When she was offered a role by Bala, she couldn’t say ‘no’ as both were good friends.
She excelled in her role as a TV reporter Kabani Bonacaud for the movie. In Malayalam many actresses have made their debut as heroine opposite Dileep and the actor has proved to be a lucky star for heroines. Her friends used to tease and call her ‘an actress’ after the release of Bhagyadevata. Later she did a Tamil film while doing Plus Two. But the movie got shelved. She completed her graduation from Kannur Sir Sayyed College in Botany.
