Niharika Konidela Biography

Niharika Konidela is a newcomer to Telugu film industry – a member of illustrious family of actors, the noted actors being Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. She is the niece of both these actors. She was born to noted film producer and actor, Nagendra Babu, the brother of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Upcoming actor Varun Tej is her brother while Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej and Allu Sirish are her cousins. Allu Rama Lingaiah is her maternal grandfather. Niharika is to break the family tradition as she is the first girl from Chiranjeevi’s family to enter film world as a heroine.

Hailed from a filmy family she was born on 18 December 1993 in Hyderabad to film producer and actor, Nagendra Babu and his wife Padmaja. Her brother Varun Tej is also an actor. She started her professional career in the year 2013 through television. She worked as a TV anchor before she pursued films. The dance reality show Dhee Juniors aired on ETV Telugu is one of her noted shows as a TV anchor. She also features in you tube web series Muddapappu Avakai as Aasha Rao. She signed her first feature film in September 2015. She has been signed for the film - Oka Manasu, where she plays the female lead. Naga Sourya is the film hero and the movie is directed by Ramaraju and it will be a light weighted romantic movie.

Since childhood she has been inspired a lot from her father. Naga Babu has been a pillar of strength all her life. When she decided to debut through television, her father gave her enough freedom to choose what she wants to do. She has also appeared in many short films including – Odyssey – When Cupid Misses. She has also signed one Tamil project of Ayodhya Kumar, that’s to be shot in Telugu also.
