Neil Nitin Mukesh Biography
Neil Nitin Mukesh is an Indian film actor who concentrates in Hindi film industry. He belongs to a family of singers and entered the film industry as a child artist. He has given many hit films and is a successful actor.
Neil Nitin Mukesh was born on 15th January 1982 in Mumbai in Maharashtra. His full name is Neil Nitin Mukesh Chand Mathur, name given to him by Lat Mangeshkar afte the name of the first man on moon, Neil Armstrong. His father is Nitin Mukesh who is a popular playback singer in Hindi film industry. His mother’s name is Nishi Mukesh.
Neil Nitin completed his schooling at Greenlawns High School and got his bachelor’s degree in communication from the HR College at Mumbai. His grandfather is a veteran singer Mukesh Chand Mathur. Though he is born in a family of singers, he is much interested in acting rather than singing. He undertook a four months course in acting with Kishore Namit Kapoor. He also got training from Anupam Kher’s acting institute.
He entered the film industry in 1988 as a child artist when he was six years old through the film Vijay. His debut film in the lead role was Johnny Gaddaar. He got positive reviews for this film and was nominated for Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for this film. He got a big break in 2009. Many of his films got critical and commercial success such as 9/11, New York and Aa Dekhen Zara.
Some of the films that he has acted include Vijay, Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharnii, Johnny Gaddaar, Aa Dekhen Zara, New York, Jail, Lafangey Parindey, Tera Kya Hoga Johnny, 7 Khoon Maaf, Players, Shortcut Romeo, etc.
