Nayantara Biography 
Nayantara is an Indian film actress whose original name is Diana Mariam Kurian. She was born on 18th November 1984. Manassinakkare in Malayalam in the year 2003 was her debut film. In Tamil film industry, her first film was Ayya in the year 2004 that made her very famous. From then on, she starred a number of films and established her role as one of the top actresses in Tamil film industry.
Nayantara is a keralite born in Bangalore to Christian Malayali parents. Her father is Kurian Kodiyattu and mother Omana Kurian. She has one elder brother Leno who is living in Dubai. Her father was an officer in Indian Air Force and so they had to move to many parts of India often that made her do her schooling in Chennai, Jamnagar, Delhi and Gujarat. She finsihed her higher secondary education at Balikamadom Girls Higher Secondary School and continued her Bachelor’s degree in English literature at Marthoma College.
The director Sathyan Anthikkad found her when she was still in her college and made her an actress. Then she acted in many Tamil and Telugu films. Some of the films she starred are Ayya, Chandramukhi, Ghajini, Billa, Boss Enkira Baskaran in Tamil. Her Telugu debut film was Lakshmi. Yaradi Nee Mohini was the highest hit of the year and was nominated for seven Filmfare South awards. She got Best Actress award for her character Keerthi. Her unsuccessful films are Kuselan, Villu and Sathyam. Adhavan with Suriya was one of the few successes of 2009.
Nayantara won Asianet Film Awards for the Best Actress for her performance in the Malayalam film Bodyguard. Adurs and Simha in Telugu, Super in Kanada, Boss Enkira Baskaran are highly successful. They got her Filmfare Best Actress Award.
Her romantic involvement with Silambarasan during the shooting of the film Vallavan, directed and acted by Simbu became the talk of the town. But this relationship broke after some time. Then after acting in the film Villu she is said to have relationship with the director of the film Prabhu Deva. Some even say that they had married secretly. They appear together as pairs in the public meeting. However as Prabhu Deva is already married and have applied for divorce, both are not willing to accept or refuse the fact.
