Narendra Babu Sharma Biography 
Narendra Babu Sharma is a Hindu televangelist, self-styled astrologer and spiritual guru who appears on television and anchors a few shows as well. He was a housemate in the first season of the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada 1, where he finished as third runner-up. As he regularly appears on television, he is a household name in Karnataka. He owns a trust named Sampoorna Varamahalakshmi Welfare Trust, which conducts Pooja ceremonies. A leading astrologer he appears with his predictions on leading Kannada channels - Kasturi, Suvarna, Zee Kannada, Suvarna News etc. He uses the name Brahmananda and its derivatives for the TV shows.
His hometown is Bangalore. Narendra Babu Sharma completed his graduation in electronics and also holds a Master’s degree. He also holds a doctorate from Allahabad University. He had interests in arts and culture since his younger age. He started off as a junior artiste in several Kannada movies during his early days. He has acted in movies like Maharaja (2005), Nandhi (2002) etc. He gained success once he made a new avatar by presenting himself as 'Brahmanda', on Kasturi channel for a religious program. At present he is known as an anchor, actor, spiritual guru and astrologer. A trivia - Narendra Babu Sharma predicted the Tsunami in Japan.
During the show Big Boss, he made strong allegations that the show was fixed. He also said that he made a great mistake by joining the team as a contestant. However he managed to finish as third runner-up. This show also helped him to come to limelight. The popular standup comedian Mimicry Dayanand frequently imitates him in his shows. Though Narendra Babu is infamous for his strong statements about women and their outlook, he gained popularity through his attitude and arrogance while talking to people.
