Namitha Pramod Biography 
Namitha Pramod is a south Indian actress who concentrates on Malayalam movies most. She was the leading heroine of Malayalam super hit movies like Traffic and Sound Thoma. Her latest release was Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum, released on 8th August 2013. She was paired opposite Kunchakko Boban in this latest release, directed by Lal Jose. She is to debut Tamil movie world very soon with the release - En Kadhal Pudhithu, directed by Maarishkumar. She has one more movie in her account till now. It’s Puthiya Theerangal directed by Satyan Anthikad for which she won Amrita Televsion Film Award for New Face of the Year (2012). She played the role of a village girl Thamara in this movie and the bond formed with an old man, after she lost her parents.
She has also worked in a few television serials - Ente Manasaputri (as Anjali), Vellankanni Mathavu (as Mathavu) and Amme Devi (as Devi). All these roles acted by her very popular also. Thus she is a known face among television viewers as well. She was only 12 years old when she started doing child artist roles in these popular serials of television.
Among all the roles she played, her pairing with Dileep in comedy flick, Sound Thoma is noted most. This movie released during Vishu, 2013 was a super hit also. She played the role of Sreelekshmi, Dileep’s love interest. The movie is remembered for its comic sequences and the chemistry between Dileep and Namitha, throughout the movie. Her debut movie, Traffic was also a critically well acclaimed movie. She played centre character of the movie, upon whom the whole story is dependent on. She played the role of Riya, superstar Sidharth Shankar’s (Rahman) daughter who is deprived of father’s love. Later the story stretches on how her heart transplant happens in the heart of city, successfully delivered to the hospital in the midst of notorious effects of traffic blocks.
