Naga Shourya Biography

Naga Shourya is a young actor associated with Telugu cinema since 2011. Made his debut in Cricket, Girls And Beer in 2011, he has appeared in 6 movies till now and three movies are in pipeline.  He played lead role in Oohalu Gusagusalade, which received positive reviews and completed 50 days in 21 centers, becoming a huge hit. He was paired with Rashi Khanna for the movie. Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya, Lakshmi Rave Maa Intiki and Jadoogadu are other releases. Kalayana Vaibogame, Abbayitho Ammayi and Oka Manasu are his upcoming movies.

 

He was born in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh and lived at Vijayawada. He moved to Hyderabad to pursue his dream as an actor. He was a tennis player during his college days and has played the game at national level. Once he reached Hyderabad, he struggled for almost five years before signing his first film. He repeatedly appeared in auditions. Though he was on the verge of signing a film several times, he lost the projects on all these occasions. He was already on verge to go back to parents when he finally got a big offer. It was quite unbelievable for him till he was called for the film's official launch ceremony. The movie was Oohalu Gusagusalaade that made him popular. Earlier he was seen in a bit role in 2011 film Cricket, Girls And Beer.

 

Actually, Chandamama Kathalu was his first release. He got the movie while shooting for Oohalu Gusagusalaade and the movie released two months prior to his first signed project. He portrayed a teenager in the movie, Chandamama Kathalu. Though the actor earned popularity with the first release, he believes that it requires 15-20 years in the industry to achieve stardom. This Vijayawada boy has made a mark for himself with his talent, hard work and perseverance.
