Muzammil Ibrahim Biography

Muzammil Ibrahim is an Indian super model and Bollywood actor from the state of Kashmir. He shot to fame after winning Gladrags Manhunt Contest in 2003. In 1994, he won Rashtrapati Award for Bravery for saving a boy from drowning in 1992. Ibrahim is a hot model of Indian entertainment industry who has been featured in many popular music videos and television commercials. He appeared aside Rakhi Sawant in the popular video Pardesia (remixed version) which earned him quick attention. He also featured in Lucky Ali’s Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hai. He reinvented the term ‘eye-candy’ for India with his global look and is often remarked as the ‘poster boy’ of Indian good looks.

He has been a successful model before entering Bollywood. Muzammil Ibrahim made his Bollywood debut through Dhokha (2007) directed by Pooja Bhatt. He played lead role of Inspector Zaid Ahmed opposite Tulip Joshi, for which he received a Filmfare nomination for best debut. It was followed by the comedy film, Horn 'Ok' Pleassss where he played the parallel lead. He played second lead in Shiney Ahuja - Priyanka Sharma starrer Dheeme Dheeme in 2009 and Will You Marry Me? in 2012. Though known for good looks, Ibrahim is still to prove himself to be a good actor.

The dynamic model was launched to films by none other than Pooja Bhatt, who made model John Abraham a big star through the movie, Jism. Pooja watched him in a few video songs before offering his debut movie, Dhokka. Dhokha is a tale of an honest and dynamic inspector whose wife betrays him. The movie belonged to the lead of Mahesh Bhatt's films like Arth, Saraansh, Zakhm etc. This movie too was scripted by Mahesh Bhatt.
