Moni Kangana Dutta is an Indian model and actress. She made her Bollywood debut through 2010 Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie, Guzaarish in supporting role of Estella Francis. This model-turned actress has appeared as cover girl in the two editions of leading fashion magazine Elle in the year 2007. As a successful ramp model she has participated in many international fashion shows like Paris Fashion Week, India Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Australian Fashion Week. She has also appeared in many television ads. She is represented by the IMG Models.

Monikangana Dutta was born on September 13, 1985 in Guwahati, Assam. She spent her childhood at Guwahati where she did schooling from Army Public School, Narangi. She completed her graduation from Matreyi College, University of Delhi. Metropolitan Top Model Contest of France in the year 2001 was one of her major wins in her early career. Soon after this win, she got shifted to Paris for 2 years where she worked with many international brands. Mac Cosmetics, Vivienne Westwood, Yoji Yamamoto, Christian Dior, Leonard, and Chloe are the top international brands with which she associated with.

When Fashion bible Vogue launched in India in 2007, its first cover featured many Indian models known internationally and Dutta was one among them. She was featured aside Bollywood actresses Bipasha Basu, Priyanka Chopra and Preity Zinta and the super model, Laxmi Menon. Australian supermodel Gemma Ward was also included in the first edition. They were photographed by Patrick Demarchelier and styled by British Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers. Her modelling career has skyrocketed since she graced the cover of the launch issue of Vogue India.
