Mohit Malhotra is a successful model and television actor known for beautiful smile. His most popular roles are Sid in Sasural Genda Phool, Kartik in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Vihaan in Kya Hua Tera Vaada and Birju in Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke. He has also appeared in numerous print advertisements including Samsung, Mayur Suitings, Castrol, Pepsi, Aircel, Vmart, Minute Maid, Royal Enfield, Convergys, Jet Airways, Croma, Niit, Brand Factory and commercials like Toyota Etios Liva, Colgate, Spraymint, Mazaa, Samsung Mobile, Mobilink and Ponds. He is a top rated model of south-east Asia. Now he is co-hosting dance reality show, India's Dancing Superstar alongside Aishwarya Sakhuja.

Mohit was born on April 4, 1986 in Delhi. Mohit is the younger brother of model cum television actor, Himmanshoo Malhotra. Mohit was graduated from Delhi University with honors. Later he studied abroad in University of California, Berkeley and Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business. But he left his MBA studies to pursue a career in acting. He was truly inspired by his elder brother to pursue a career in modeling and acting. Mohit started his television career on Spitsvilla 2 in MTV (2009). He got a magic entry to television when he got lead role in Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke the same year. He was paired opposite Tanvi Bhatia. Same year he got another good role in top rated serial of Star Plus, Sasural Genda Phool where he played the role of Suhana's ex-love interest.

Later he appeared in a series of television serials including Anhoniyon Ka Andhera, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kya Huaa Tera Vaada and Haunted nights. In 2010, he received Best Fresh New Face (Male) at Indian Telly awards. At present apart from hosting dance reality show, India's Dancing Superstar, he is also working in Bade ache lagthe hain, where he does the parallel main lead as Priya's Younger Brother and Natasha's Husband.
