Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is a Bollywood actor known for supporting roles. He played the role of Dhanush’s best friend in 2013 super hit movie, Raanjhanaa which earned him much appreciation. He plays the role of sidekick to hero or hero’s friend in most of his movies. He played the role of Emraan Hashmi’s friend, Balli in Jannat 2. Minister's Son Monu in No One Killed Jessica, Imran Khan’s best friend in My brother ki Dulhan and role of Arif in 2013 released movie, Shahid. Ayyub is married to TV actress Rasika Agashe since 2007.

Ayyub was born and brought up in Delhi. Both his parents are theater artists. He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, New Delhi. After graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi, he joined prestigious NSD, Delhi before making his debut in 2011. He made his successful movie debut through the critically acclaimed Bollywood thriller, ‘No One Killed Jessica’. He played the negative lead role of minister’s son in this movie. Among all the releases till now, Raanjhanaa was his most noticed role, followed by Jannat. His breakthrough performance in Raanjhanaa garnered him widespread appreciation and popular acclaim. He was without any work for nearly 8 months, when he was signed for this movie.

Ayyub has been interested in acting since his college days in Delhi. He has never been into acting or theatre during his school days and his involvement with this field started only during college days. But he never dreamt to become a Bollywood actor, though he desired to be known as an actor. After gaining big break with Raanjhana, his upcoming project is ‘Dolly Ki Doli’.
