Mini Mathur Biography 
Mini Mathur is a successful anchor of Indian television. She is an actress and successful model also. She came to limelight with the first reality show of Indian television – Indian Idol, where she hosted the first 4 seasons. She has been one of the determinants in the success of this reality show. Till then, she has became a household name. Most recently she played a strong role in the film "I , me aur Main". Currently she hosts the program, "Dilli dil se" interviewing politicians, industrialists and opinion makers. Mini Mathur is one of the most popular TV hosts in India. her popular ads include - Ultra doux and L'oreal.
Mini was born on 21 August 1975 in New Delhi. She took degree in English literature from Lady Sriram College & in Business Management from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. She started her career as an advertising professional at J Walter Thompson, New Delhi. Her modelling assignments began with Rayban sunglasses. Later by chance she entered Television field. Her first game show on indian television was Tol mol ke bol. Later she appeared in many game shows and quizzes and it paved her direct path to Indian idol.
Later she hosted MTV for 4 years in several programs. Hosting international artists, game shows, interviews of celebrities and campus games are a few among them. Her association with Sony TV and Indian Idol gave her fame and popularity. She hosted the program successively for three seasons till she took a break from the next to have a baby. Yeh shaam Mastani - an interview based concert series with the maestros of music amongst others was one of her programs since she returned. She hosted the first season of Iss jungle se mujhe bachao for 2 months and participated as a celebrity contestant on Jhalak Dikhlaja Season 2.
