Mejo Joseph Biography 
Mejo Joseph is a Malayalam film music director who got big break to the industry through 2006 movie – Notebook. The teen film directed by Rosshan Andrrews marked his debut and the movie included some good songs like "Hridayavum Hridayavum”, "Changathikoottam" and “Iniyum". Roshan Andrews is his brother-in-law and Notebook marked the successful debut of this director as well. Cycle (2009), Kanmazha Peyyum Munpe (2010), Traffic (2011), Chapters (2012) and Entry (2012) are his other works. He debut Tamil cinema with the remake of Malayalam hit, Traffic, for which he composed songs. Hindi remake of the same movie with the same title marks his Bollywood debut as a background scorer. He provided the background score for its Malayalam original as well.
He was born in Thrissur in 1981. Joseph & Nancy are his parents. In 2011 he got married to Merlin in a grand ceremony. The couple has one son. Mejo has also appeared as a celebrity judge for music shows on television. He judged the last preliminary round of "Amrita T.V Superstar Junior 2", alongside Pradip Somasundaran of Meri Awaaz Suno fame. He is a good friend of Pradip, who is also a resident of Thrissur town. He also judged the musical talent hunt show `Little Masters' on Asianet Plus.
He started music with classical and vocal, and later moved to Western music and the keyboard while studying in class 10. He formed a band with friends while at Christ College and also participated in many college competitions. While doing MBA in Polachi, he learnt Carnatic vocal and the harmonium under the guidance of Muthu Bhagavathar. He also did a diploma course in sound engineering. The music album `Manicheppu' was his first venture as a composer.
