Master Saleem Biography 
Master Saleem is an Indian singer who releases private albums and has also done playback singing in Bollywood. He is a native of Punjab and has released private albums of Punjabi music, devotional as well as Sufi. As a Bollywood singer, his popular songs are Aahun Aahun of Love aaj kal, Rangeeli Raat of Money hai to honey hai, Leja Leja of Tere sang, Pe..Pe..Pepein of Chance pe dance, Maa Da Ladla of Dostana, Chamki Jawaani of Yamla pagla diwana, Humka Peeni Hai of Debaangg, Mast Kalandar of Heyy Baby, Tashan Mein of Tashan, Kukudu of Tere bin ladan, Maula Maula of Ruslaan, Lakhnavi Kabaab of Right ya wrong, Awara of 7 Khoon maaf, Jingle Jingle of Badmash company and Discowale Khisko Remix of Dil bole hadippa. He has also sung remix versions of many popular Bollywood tracks.
His birth name is Saleem Shahkotii and he was born on July 13, 1982 in Shahkot, Jhalander. He is the son of the famous Sufi singer Ustad Puran Shah Koti. He started learning sufi music from his father at the age of 6. He gave his first public performance at the age of 8 for Bathinda Doordarshan and earned the name Master Saleem. Very soon he appeared in television shows of which Jhilmil Taare is most popular one. Saleem's first album, Charkhe Di Ghook, was released when he was 10 years old. His song Dhol Jagiro Da was one of the earliest hits.
During 1990’s he established as a singer particularly for private albums and devotional music. Mela Maiya Da, Aj Hai Jagrata, Meri Maiya and Darshan Kar Lao are a few of his hit devotional albums. Singer Jasbir Jassi introduced him to music director Sandeep Chowta and thus he got the opportunity to sing a solo - Sajni in Sony Music album Teri Sajni. Later he sang many popular songs of Bollywood of which Maa Da Ladla of Dostana, Ahu ahu of Love aaj kal and Mast Kalandar of Heyy Baby are among the most popular tracks.
