Manish Choudhary Biography

Manish Choudhary is a Bollywood actor known for character roles. He is best known for his character of Sunil Puri in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, directed by Shimit Amin. Jannat 2 (2012), Raaz 3 (2012) and Mickey Virus (2013) are the commercial hits of Manish as a character artist. He played the role of the senior officer- Usmaan Ali Mallik in Yash raj film’s television show – Powder in 2010.

His debut movie was Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula in 2003 which starred Milind Soman and Meera Vasudevan in lead roles. He played the notable role of Tara Dutt, the ghost who practises black magic and gives advises to Shanaya Shekhar, the role played by Bipasha Basu. This negative shaded role was also well appreciated. Band Baaja Baaraat, Lafangey Parindey, Bachelor party, Blood Money, Socha Na Tha and 7 1/2 Phere: More Than a Wedding are other noted appearances. Bombay Velvet is his upcoming movie.

Manish Choudhary was born on 20 April 1969. He identified his true passion of acting while he schooled at Darjeeling. He completed graduation from Delhi University and started his career as a stage actor with College Theatre Society. Then he reached Mumbai to seek opportunities in Bollywood. He made his film debut in the 2003 Bollywood film Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula directed by Parvati Balagopalan. He was offered a small role in this movie. Manish has spent one decade in Bollywood. Yet he got only less number of roles in movies. Raaz 3 and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year are the meaty roles of his acting career till now.
