Manasi Salvi is an actress associated with cinema and television. She works both in Hindi and Marathi. Pavitra Rishta, Hum Ne Li Hai- Shapath, Sati...Satya Ki Shakti, Kohi Apna Sa, Saarrthi, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara are her noted television serials in Hindi. Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara is currently aired on Star Plus, where she plays the role of Avantika Harish Kumar. She has also acted in one Marathi television serial, Ekach Ya Janmi Janu. She is married to Hemant Prabhu, the director of the weekly drama Siddhant since 2005. They together worked for the television series, Sati...Satya Ki Shakti. The couple has one daughter.

Salvi was born and brought up in Mumbai. She completed schooling from Holy Cross High School, Mumbai. Later she finished graduation at Vaze Kelkar College of Commerce and post-graduation from Mumbai University. She is a trained Bharat Natyam and Kuchipudi classical dancer and has done a lot of stage performances. Later she did her portfolio and her photographs were sent by her photographer to Lintas Advertising. Very soon she got her first advertisement. She first appeared in Vim Bar ad.

Very soon she got her first chance to play a lead role as Preeti in Zee TV’s Aashirwad. There were two more protagonists for the show and this show made her popular. There was no turning back after that. She regularly appeared in many television serials and has also worked in two Marathi movies – Sadarakshanaay and Aai Shappath..! Her debut Marathi movie, Aai Shappath was released in 2006.
