Mallika Srinivasan Biography 
Mallika Srinivasan – a new voice in the traditional bound agricultural industry, she is known as a strategist and entrepreneur who has given significant contribution to Indian agriculture and its machinery. Currently she serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TAFE - Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited. She is also a board member of AGCO Corporation - USA, Tata Steel Limited and Tata Global Beverages Limited. TAFE is India’s second and world’s third highest tractor manufacturers. In 2014 Indian government honoured her with Padma Shri for Trade and Industry. In 2012, she received Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) from Hindustan University of Technology & Science, Chennai. She has been honoured with infinite awards by different organizations, both India and abroad.
She is a University gold-medalist in Econometrics from the University of Madras. Later she graduated from Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA where she was ranked one among the top 125 students. Her interest in development of education and healthcare in India prompted her to support many organizations belonging to this category. She is a patron of arts and known for her services to promote Carnatic music through The Indira Sivasailam Endowment Fund.
Currently Mallika Srinivasan leads a traditional manufacturing business. She has been leading TAFE for more than 2 decades and through her innovative methods and unique thinking, she has transformed the company with introducing new products as well as multiplying its revenue, almost 30 times. After graduation from aboard she returned back in 1986 and took it as a challenge to renovate the already exhausted and faded agriculture business of her family. Her father was an industrialist, A. Sivasailam. Her father was willing to invest money for her researches so that new models of tractors and other farm equipment can be introduced. It became a grand success. She is married to Venu Srinivasan, an industrialist and the Chairman and Managing Director of Sundaram Clayton Ltd and TVS Motor Company.
