Mahima Nambiar Biography

Mahima Nambiar is a south Indian actress who works in Tamil movies. She made her debut through Malayalam movie Kaaryastan which marked the 100th movie of actor Dileep’s career. She played a bit uncredited role in this movie. Her real screen debut happened through Tamil movie, Saattai in 2012 where she played the lead role of a teacher, Arivazhagi. The movie was a remake of Malayalam hit Manikya Kallu. The movie received positive response from critics and was declared a box office super hit. Her second release was Ennamo Nadakkudhu, after a short break in 2014. She was paired with Vijay Vasanth and the movie too received warm welcome from critics.

 
Mahima is a Keralite who got success through Tamil movies. She was studying in class 12, when Sattai was released. After that she took a small break to complete her studies. After that she signed 4 films back to back. The released two movies already received positive response from critics and proved to be commercial hits too. Mosakutty and Puravi 150cc are her upcoming movies. Currently she is pursuing her graduation in English literature.

 
Since childhood she dreamt to become a film star and started modelling during her academic years. She was studying in class 9 when she made a brief appearance in Malayalam movie – Kaaryastan. Then she met director Samy during an ad shoot who offered her a Tamil movie. The movie was Sindhu Samaveli and due to personal reasons, she didn’t accept it. However, the production executive of the film later recommended her to the team of Sattai and she bagged the title role.
