Madhurima Tuli Biography

Madhurima Tuli also known as Madurima Tulli was born in 1982 in Dehradun, now the capital of Uttarakhand is a famous Indian film actress, model in Hindi and South Indian films and television. According to Madhurima, she has worked in a number of Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films but her fame as an actress came as being part of a commercial for a mobile service provider last year that played a major role in uplifting her career.

Madhurima Tuli was born in Uttarakhand to a well to faimily as her father works for Tata Steel and her mother is a social activist. Madhurima Tuli started with a Telugu movie 'Saththaa' in 2004 as Sai Kiran in lead role. Later Madhurima came to Mumbai and did a tarining stint at acting school of the Kishore Namit Kapoor. Madhurima, in the meanwhile was busy as a model with her advertisement assignments for popular brands of  Fiama Di Wills, Godrej and Karbonn Mobiles. Madhurima did a small role in Kasturi, a soap opera that was aired on STAR Plus channel in 2007.

According to Madhurima she played a supporting role of a beautiful girl named Satya in Homam, an Indian thriller written and directed by J. D. Chakravarthy in 2008. Madhurima has no hesitation accepting the fact that her role was inspired by the 2006 Hollywood movie The Departed, directed by Martin Scorsese up to some extent.

Madhurima Tuli's Film career

She played the lead role of a newly married wife Rukmini in Kaalo a 2010 movie, the was shown at the 6th Annual South African Halloween Horror Festival in Cape Town that brought her laurels as the movie won the best feature film and best cinematography award. Madhurima also took part in the third season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, with Dino Morea as her partner,a reality show that was shot in Brazil and broadcast by Aapka Colors.

Madhurima Bollywood career started in 2011 when she starring as Nisha with Babrak Goni, Vrajesh Hirjee and Upasana Singh in the comedy-romance Kya Karein Kya Na Karein. She starred in the film Maaricha directed by K. Sivasurya in 2012, the film was simultaneously made in Kannada and Tamil and had Mithun Tejasvi playing the lead actor opposite Tuli. Tuli had a leading role in Cigarette Ki Tarah also in 2012 opposite Prashant Narayanan, and as the female lead Natasha in Anik Singal's English language short film Lethal Commission also in 2012.

In 2013 Madhurima Tuli played Gunjan Dutta in the Hindi thriller 3D film Warning. She also played the lead role in the film Nimbe Huli, directed by Hemanth Hegde and produced by Subhash Ghai. The film had Hegde playing the lead role along with Tuli, Komal Jha and Nivedhitha. She Played the role of Akshay Kumar's wife in 2014 action movie 'Baby'.

Her roles in TV serials

She acted in the movie 'Toss' the role of Sherry in the year 2009 and after the small role as Bindiya in Zee TV's supernatural soap opera Shree (2008-2009), and the role of Gayathri in the historical TV series drama Jhansi Ki Rani aired in 2009 to 2011, Madhurima Tuli played the aspiring model Khushi in STAR One's TV series Rang Badalti Odhani in 2010-2011. Madhurima later that year also played Richa in the 2011 TV show Parichay, produced by Balaji Telefilms and aired on Colors TV, but was later replaced by Mona Vasu.
