Madhura Sreedhar Reddy Biography

Madhura Sreedhar Reddy is a popular director and producer associated with Telugu film industry. He established the music label Madhura Audio and owns one of the popular Telugu film magazines named Cinestar. Though he was a software engineer by profession, he turned a filmmaker by directing the youth oriented movie - Sneha Geetham in 2010 which gained critical acclaim and established him as a successful director. He won debut director award and since then he is associated with Telugu cinema. The good feel debut movie was followed by two hits back to back - It’s My Love Story and Backbench Student, both giving preference to youth. Apart from direction, he has also produced a few movies.

Reddy was born and raised in Warangal. An excellent student in studies he completed Software Engineering from Regional Engineering College Warangal and completed his MS (Research) from IIT Madras with a gold medal. He has worked with many leading IT companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro before his foray to movies. He started his association with film world by launching music label Madhura Audio, and later through the film magazine - Cinestar.

It was his debut as a director which earned him fame and popularity. He gave a series of youthful hit movies to Telugu cinema. It's My Love Story directed by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy marked the film debut of model Nikita Narayan. She played the female lead and made her debut as a playback singer too. Sreedhar is always fascinated by iconic Indian director Ram Gopal Varma and the cult classic - Siva remains his personal favourite. Om Mangalam Mangalam, I am Not Sachin, Love Sex & Murder and Dana Karna are his current projects in pipeline.
