Lisa Lazarus Biography

Lisa Lazarus is a Welsh model and actress who appears in Indian movies. She starred aside Salman Khan in big-budget movie, Veer. The movie was released in Angela and she played the supporting role of Angela. She was also seen in supporting role in Tamil super hit, Madrasapattinam in 2010 where she featured the role of Catherine. This successful model is a beauty pageant winner too. She is the Miss Universe Great Britain (UK) – 2008 and she made her Indian film debut the following year. It was rumoured that she dated Catalan footballer Gerard Pique when he was associated with Manchester United team.

Lazarus was born in Llanelli, Wales on 11 November 1987. She completed graduation in Diagnostic Radiography the University of Hertfordshire. This university is famous for topping the league with beauty as well as brains in several beauty pageants. Lisa Lazarus won Miss Universe UK 2008, the first round of the Miss Universe competition, soon after her exams. She won the contest among 38 contestants and this radiology student was crowned Miss Universe UK 2008 at a glittering ceremony in Café de Paris in Leicester Square. She impressed the judges with evening, beach and disco wear catwalk rounds. Miss UK also holds the titles of Miss Llanelli and Miss Swansea, though she was unplaced in Miss Universe competition.

Her first Bollywood appearance was for the historical drama, Veer. The production team needed a British actor and that’s how she was offered a role. She appeared in heavy costumes in the movie. She made her big break to south Indian movies through the Tamil movie, Madrasapattinam.
