Lavina Tandon Biography

Lavina Tandon is a television actress associated with Hindi television industry. She made her television debut as a child artist in 2003, slowly transformed to teenage roles and adult roles. She most recently played the role of Kanya/Goddess Kali in the popular fantasy series on Colors – Naagin. Jodha Akbar, Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Tum Bin Jaaoon Kahaan, Hero - Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai, Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli etc are some of her television roles. She was also seen in the horror show, Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein in a cameo role.

Lavina made her acting debut as a child artist in the year 2003. She was seen for the first time in Aruna Irani's television series Tum Bin Jaaoon Kahaan. Got noticed for her first role, she very soon bagged a few more television roles. She played the role of Charlotte in Hero - Bhakti Hi Shakti Ha in 2005, followed by her noted role as Chamki in Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan (2006). It was followed by comedy series, Papad Pol, where she essayed the role of Ranjanba Darbar. She played Kanika Prasad in Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli in 2009, though got replaced one year later.

Currently she plays the role of Gaal Pari in the children's television series, Baal Veer since 2012. Thus associated with television since the age of 11, over the years, for the past one decade she has never taken break from the industry and worked in the industry in regular breaks. She has also made a slowly transformation from an 11-year old girl to a female actress. Her negative role as Ruqaiya Sultan Begam in Jodha Akbar was well appreciated and she even received hate messages for her performance, which she takes as compliment. She even received messages to leave the show!
