Kuljeet Randhawa was a former model and actress who committed suicide on February 8, 2006 following a sour relationship. She was only 30 then. She was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her living room 4 hours after her chat with her sister. She left a long suicide note before her death. She has been suffering from depression for a long time. She was the hot model of Gladrags and most known for her role in the Kohinoor television series. Hip Hip Hurray, C.A.T.S., and a lead role in STAR One's Special Squad are her other popular television appearances.

Kuljeet Randhawa was born on January 1, 1976 in Patiala, Punjab. Her father served for the Indian police and she got opportunity to travel across India since early days. She started modelling while she was student and very soon, she became successful in this field. She completed Psychology from Delhi University with honours before completely entering entertainment field. She became a successful model and appeared in many television serials also.

Yet she was suffering from depression for a long time. In the 2-paged suicide note, she mentioned her desperate wish to be happy. On February 8, 2006 Kuljeet Randhawa hanged herself in her Juhu apartment in Mumbai. Kuljeet mentioned in her suicide note that she was ending her life as she was unable to cope with life's pressures. The suicide note was addressed to co-star Bhanu Uday, who played the lead in Star One’s Special Squad. Her close friend and top model, Nafisa Joseph also committed suicide by the same way about two year prior her. She was also very successful model, yet committed suicide following her breakup with Khanduja who was still married.
