Krishna Iyer Biography 
Krishna Iyer is a young playback singer associated with Tamil cinema. Made his singing debut with 2009 Vikram film, Kanthaswamy, he gained attention through the second song. The chartbuster hit - En Uchimandai of Vettaikaaran released the same year was composed by Vijay Antony. Then he sang a series of songs for Harris Jayaraj, of which "Yaelae Yaelae Dosthu Da", from the movie Endrendrum Punnagai, topped the iTunes India chart for many weeks. Maya Bazaar of Yennai Arindhaal and Paprapampam, Nee Sonna Vaarthai and Singari Sokku Lady from Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka are his latest hits. His name is also associated with independent music circuit.
Krishna Iyer is associated with a talented music family from Chennai. He was born to a lineage of renowned exponents of Carnatic music. Thus he got associated with world of music and started writing and singing at a younger age. He was introduced into the tinsel town as a singer with the famous En Peru Meenakumari from Kanthasamy. It was a chartbuster item song pictured on Mumaith Khan, known for similar dance sequences. He sang the duet aside Malathi Lakshman, and Iyer sang the song for Mukesh Tiwari, the male antagonist of the film.
It was followed by En Uchimandai of Vettaikaaran, pictured on Vijay which was a huge chartbuster. Since then he has sung numerous fast tracks and peppy numbers for Tamil cinema. Now this busy singer has lots of stage performances and TV shows to his credit and is also associated with independent music, with many leading musicians of the country. He also penned lyrics for the movie - Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka. The music is composed by Prasan - Praveen – Shyam trio.
