Komal Jha Biography
Komal Jha is a noted actress of south Indian cinema. She originally belongs to Ranchi, Jharkhand. Her first appearance was for the all-time blockbuster 3 Idiots in 2010, where she played a cameo role. She also appeared in a Malayalam movie, 24 hours the same year. Ramachari in 2011 was her debut Telugu movie and later she appeared in a series of Telugu movies. Komal has been linked with Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and popular actor R. Madhavan. She is to debut Bollywood in 2014. The movie is yet to be titled.
Komal belongs to Ranchi, Jharkhand and both her parents are academicians. Both her parents were against her wish to act in movies at first. She spent her childhood days at Ranchi where she completed school education. She was Indian skipper Dhoni’s junior in DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir in Ranchi and they lived in the same colony in Ranchi. Their parents used to be good friends. Komal lost touch with the cricketer after she moved to Bangalore for higher studies. She completed BE degree in Civil Engineering from MSRIT and was the department topper. She got selection to a Dubai based construction firm through campus selection. She worked in Dubai for a year and later quit the job to pursue her dreams in entertainment industry.
After doing less significant roles in south Indian cinema, she got ‘Priyathama Neevachata Kusalama’, her second Telugu release. However most of her scenes were chopped and she was excluded from film posters and promotion events as well. Her delayed Kannada film Nimbe Huli was released most recently in 2014. Eduruleni Alexander (2014) was her third Telugu release. Billa Ranga and Telugu project Maine Pyaar Kiya are her upcoming releases.
