Kishore Namit Kapoor Biography 
Kishore Namit Kapoor – the acting guru is a prominent film-acting trainer, who trains people to act. Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Akshaye Khanna, Saif Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Mahima Chaudhry and Priyanka Chopra are among those leading celebrities who have learnt the essence of acting from his training institute. Apart from acting he has also authored two books on acting - ‘You Are The Instrument, You Are The Player’ (2003) and ‘Acting in Everyday Life’ (2012). Kishore has also acted in several Bollywood movies for two decades since 1971 and has worked with many veteran actors. Some of his noted roles are Kranti, Faraar, Nischay, Paap Ka Ant, Sailaab, Sajan, Love 86 etc.
He published his first book on acting in the year 2003. His new book, ‘You Are The Instrument, You Are The Player’ claims to be the 'first authentic book on acting in English and Hindi' promises to polish the acting skills of an aspirant to achieve his goal of becoming an actor. The book was released by his most successful student - Hrithik Roshan at Mumbai's The Classique Club. Hrithik got acting training from his guru during 1997-1998, before the movie, ‘Kaho na pyar hai’.
Kishore Namit Kapoor was born in Delhi in 1949. In 1958, he joined AIR as a child artist and when Doordarshan started in 1962, he became one of the child artists to join television. The great actor Amitabh Bachchan, Kulbushan Kharbanda and Dinesh Thakur were his college mates at K.M. College in 1964. After graduation, he joined famous director Rajendra Nath’s Delhi based theatre group. He entered into the field of acting after graduating from FTII, Pune. He joined FTII in 1970, after completing graduation. He started Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in 1983.
