Keerthi Suresh Biography

Keerthi Suresh is a young actress of Malayalam cinema, who debut big screen with Mohanlal starrer Geetanjali in 2013. Earlier she has worked as child artist in the early 2000s. She is better known as the daughter of yesterday actress – Menaka and film producer Suresh Kumar. She is to enter Tamil and Telugu films with a kit of roles. She played Dileep’s heroine in the hit movie – Ring Master. Her debut Tamil movie - Idhu Enna Maayam opposite Vikram Prabhu received positive critics responses but performed average at box office.

She was born into a film family in Thiruvananthapuram in 1992. Her mother Menaka has been a well-established actress of 1980s. Her father has given some memorable hits like Aaram Thampuran and Poochakkoru Mookkuthi. She has one elder sister who works at Shah Rukh Khan’s home production – Red Chillies. Keerthy has appeared as a child artiste in a few of her father’s productions such as Pilot, Achaneyanenikku Ishtam and Kuberan in the early 2000s. She completed her school education from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom. Though film offers came pouring in, her parents insisted her to complete education before accepting film offers.

She was a student of fashion designing at Pearl Academy in Chennai while she accepted the movie ‘Geetanjali’ in 2013. She played a dual role in the movie directed by Priyadarshan. However the sequel of manichitrathazhu was a disaster at box office. Her second movie, Ring Master was directed by Rafi Mecartin. She was paired with Dileep and played the role of a blind girl. The duo had worked earlier in movies like Kuberan, where Keerthi was a child artist. Later she started accepting Tamil and Telugu movies. Rajini Murugan and Paambhu Sattai are her upcoming Tamil projects. She is also working in two untitled movies opposite Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan. Aina Ishtam Nuvvu and Harikatha are her upcoming Telugu movies.
