Kavita Kharayat Biography

Kavita Kharayat is a successful Super Model. After almost a decade of dating each other, she got married to the super model, Sunny Kamble in Mumbai in December 2015. The couple wore Manish Malhotra couture and looked dashing in the wedding ceremony. Achla Sachdev, a leading model was instrumental in mentoring this supermodel in her early days of her career. She also received training from Hemant Trivedi, who helped her mould her career. Kavita regards Trivedi as her guru. Her major breakthrough happened when found place among the finalists of Femina’s elite model look.

She always dreamt to become a model. She loves photography, adores art and music and has also been an athlete in school. She was a badminton player during her academic years, though later she got attracted towards modelling. Now also she plays badminton to keep in touch with the game. A gold medallist in athletics, she has also participated in the Mumbai Marathon event. She also practices power yoga and do gymnastics too, to keep her body fit. In her opinion, right body language, attitude, and sense of music are the prime three factors to achieve success as a ramp model.

Worked with renowned designers of the country, she has received good compliments as a ramp model. Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phadnis, Neeta Lulla, Achala Sachdev, Ritu Kumar, Manish Arora, Lubna Adams, Rodriguez Gavin Miguel, Akki Narula etc are among the leading names with whom she has worked with. A known face of fashion industry, she has worked for more than a decade. Her first big break was given by Sangeeta Chopra, where she walked on ramp aside super models - Madhu Sapre, Malaika Arora, Ujjwala Raut, and Noyanika Chatterjee.
