Kavin Dave Biography

Kavin Dave is a popular artist associated with Bollywood known for supporting and comic roles. He made his screen debut through the movie Mumbai Meri Jaan in 2008, followed by supporting roles in My Name Is Khan, I Hate Luv Storys, Crook, Teen Patti, Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, 3 AM and Kick, and also played lead role in Bumboo (2012) directed by Jagdish Rajpurohit. He also co-scripted the movie aside its director. He is a theatre artist and has also appeared in a few television shows and serials, apart from numerous commercials. He has also done Gujarati, Marathi and Tamil films.

Kavin Dave was born on 12 November 1984 in Mumbai. He started his acting career as a child artist in TV drama Junoon aired on Doordarshan. He later made his television appearance in 1997 series, Jai Hanuman aired on DD Metro, in which he played the role of Bal Hanuman. After a break he made his first adult appearance in 2008 Bollywood film, Mumbai Meri Jaan starring Madhavan, Soha Ali Khan and Irrfan Khan. Since then he is active in film and television industry, apart from theater.

Kavin has also appeared in a few TV ads such as Sprite, Vodafone, Dish TV, Fortune oil, Sil jam and Center shock. He played lead role in the television sitcom Rishta.com, which earned him popularity. He played the role of Qutubuddin Koka in television series – Siyaasat. Telugu movie Money Money More Money marked his south Indian film debut. His education was done in Blossoms S.T.E High School and Bhavan’s College Mumbai. Since academic years he has been active in theatre and has won several prizes in intercollege competitions.
