Karisma Kapoor Biography 
Karisma Kapoor is an Indian actress and made her film debut in 1991. She appears in Hindi films and she is called as Lolo. Her biggest success was the film Raja Hindustani. This won her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She again won Filmfare award and National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film Dil To Pagal Hai in 1997. She gave wonderful performances in the films Fiza in 2000 and Zubeidaa in 2001. She earned Best Actress and Best Actress (critics) at Filmfare.
She was born on 25th June 1974 in Mumbai. Her parents are Randhir Kapoor and Bapita. She is the granddaughter of the film maker and actor Raj Kapoor. Her sister is Kareena Kapoor and her uncle is Rishi Kapoor. She studied at Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai until sixth grade.
She was engaged to Abhishek Bachchan. This was announced on October 2002 on the 60th birthday of Amitabh Bachchan. However this split up in February 2003. She married the industrialist Sanjay Kapur on 29th September 2003. He is the CEO of Sixt India. They have one daughter Samaira born on 11th March 2005. After the birth of her daughter there were abrasions in the relationship. Her son Kiaan Raj Kapoor was born on 12th March 2010.
Her film debut was in the movie Prem Qaidi in 1991. Then she gave many releases such as Jigar, Anari, Raja Babu, Coolie No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, and Jeet. Her film Raja Hindustani was the highest grosser of the year and her film Dil To PAgal Hai also was a super hit movie. She took a break from the film industry in 1998 and came back again in 1999. She acted in the film Hum Saath Saath Hain: We Stand United in the film of Rajshri Productions. Her Janwaar with Akshay Kumar proved to be a big success.
She won her second Filmfare Best Actres Award in 200 for her film Fiza. She also acted in some television serials like Karishman: A Miracle of Destiny.
